Adrienne Frances James

Adrienne Frances (Ansbury) James, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 83, died peacefully at her daughter's home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Born on January 20, 1943, in Jamaica, New York, Adrienne lived a full and vibrant life across several states, including Connecticut, Florida, and Maryland, before spending the past 11 years in Nebraska. She retired from BellSouth, where she dedicated many years of service.

Adrienne is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Christine Melice and Andrea James; her five grandchildren, Nicolas Melice, Crystal Melice, Shannon Allegrezza, Cassandra Sansom, and Jacqueline Sansom; and her cherished great-grandson, Oscar King. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerard Donald Ansbury and Frances Viola (Stiles) Ansbury.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Springfield NE (day and time pending), followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Brooklyn NY, where she will be laid to rest alongside her parents and maternal grandparents.
