Bradford Farrell Barnes

Bradford F. Barnes, age 69, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away April 16th, 2025.

Brad graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1974 and worked several years at Coors Distribution. Later, he spent many more years working for Menards in Council Bluffs, where he enjoyed helping customers with their home improvement projects. Living most of his life in Council Bluffs, Brad was amazed at how his small town was constantly growing. He enjoyed frequenting the local casinos, sitting on the porch with his mom watching the coming and goings of the neighborhood and spoiling his grandchildren by adding to their toy collection.

He is survived by his daughter Britni (Freddie) Meza of Arizona, 3 grandchildren, his mother Vada Barnes, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Preceding him in death was his father Farrell “Buzz” Barnes.
