Born August 18, 1948, in Scott City, Kansas. Died: May 10, 2025, at age 76.

Parents Elton G Rohrbough and Mary Lee (Sterling) Telander.

Johnny graduated from Scott City KS High School and then Fort Hays State University Hays KS, with a Double bachelor’s degree in business and computer science.

Johnny marriage Berneta Rose on February 13, 1971. They had two sons, Tydd and Shadd.

Johnny farmed in Scott City, Kansas for several years before moving to Nebraska, starting, growing and selling a successful construction business before launching his 20+ year career training Thoroughbred Racehorses. Next Johnny was instrumental in planning, construction and operating the Cornhusker Energy Lexington Ethanol Plant for 15 years until it was sold to Chief Industries in 2016. The plant continues to operate and has contributed over $400 million to the Lexington Nebraska Economy. Johnny revolutionized the Wet Distillers Grain feeding industry in and around the Lexington area,increased the numbers on feed and materially increased the profitability of the local cattle markets.

In his free time, Johnny was an avid golfer, outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family.

Johnny is survived by his wife Berneta Rohrbough (Pleasant Dale, NE), Son, Tydd Rohrbough (Pleasant Dale, NE) his children: Emily her husband (Justin) Wisniewski daughter Madison, (Lincoln, NE), Serena her husband (Austin) Davis and sons, Deegan and Xander of Lake Stevens, WA Trevor Rohrbough of Albuquerque, NM. Son, Shadd his wife (Krista), Rohrbough (Lincoln, NE) and their son Kaleb Blakemore (Lincoln, NE). Johnny has a brother, Frankie and his wife (Carol) Rohrbough (Altamont, KS) and Numerous Nieces and Nephews

A Celebration of Life will be held at Denton Community Center in Denton, Nebraska on: June 12, 2025 at 3:00pm.  In lieu of flowers: donations and memorials to Warriors Own It! and/or Mercy Multiplied!
